Waste treatment sector
Liquid waste of different origins can be characterised by very high concentrations of particular categories of organic and inorganic pollutants, deriving from biological and physical-chemical processes within industrial and/or city landfills.
For this reason, they are captured and appropriately treated in special purification systems in order to keep a whole series of parameters under control, such as surfactants, oils and greases, nitrogenous forms or colour (the latter two especially in the case of treatment of leachate).
